Job summary

VIP Tires & Service in Presque Isle, ME seeks a Tech-Advisor to blend service writer duties with tire and vehicle maintenance. You will engage customers, explain MPI inspections, and coordinate with the shop team to deliver quality work.

You must complete LMS training, obtain BATS, TPMS, ASE certifications, and maintain safety standards. The role requires a 5-day, 40-hour work week and a commitment to VIP standards.

Qualifications

• One year of related automotive service experience.
• Two-year college or technical training recommended.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.
• ASE certifications listed in the job responsibilities are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter as a service writer as needed.
• Work in the shop as a technician and complete services per VIP standards.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area.
• Complete LMS training and relevant vendor trainings; obtain certifications.
• Aim for high customer engagement and productive billed hours.
