Job summary

VIP Tires & Service in Lewiston, ME seeks a Tech-Advisor (T/A) to support service writers and technicians, ensuring excellent customer experiences and high-quality vehicle care. The role combines counter service and shop duties, with emphasis on training, safety, and process adherence.

You will participate in safety programs, obtain ASE, BATS, TPMS certifications, and support daily operations to boost customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as Priority #1 and follow safety policies.
• Assist at the counter as a service writer, educating customers about vehicle conditions.
• Work in the shop as a technician when needed and complete services per VIP standards.
• Complete LMS training and vendor certifications; obtain BATS, TPMS, and ASE certifications.
• Aim for higher-than-average customer engagement and productive billed hours.
• Learn VIP processes and execute duties to deliver a better customer experience.
• Maintain facility/equipment and ensure clean service department; log issues as needed.
• Enforce the service Code of Ethics and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with management to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Support management to achieve performance targets through reports.
