Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member at Petsense to assist store leadership in daily operations and customer service. The role includes merchandising, cashiering, and supporting the care of live animals, with a focus on safety and a positive shopping experience.

Qualified candidates may have retail or pet knowledge, be 18+, hold a driver’s license, and have high school education or equivalent. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, reading, writing and counting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with execution of operational, sales and merchandising objectives.
• Provide outstanding customer service and promote a safe work environment for team members and customers.
• Train team members on policies and procedures.
• Maintain attendance, handle opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Perform merchandising, price changes, Plan-o-grams, and stock organization.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Assist in loading purchases and care for live animals as required.
