Job summary

Tractor Supply Company – Petsense seeks a Team Member to assist Store Manager and ASM, delivering outstanding customer service and merchandising excellence. You will help maintain store operations, train new staff, and ensure a safe environment for customers, animals, and team members.

The role requires flexibility in shifts and a willingness to learn policies and procedures, with opportunities to advance in store operations and live-animal care responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred and ability to lead a team.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and ASM with execution of operational, sales and merchandising objectives.
• Provide outstanding customer service and promote a safe work environment.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic merchandising activities.
• Handle cash register operations and reconcile cash drawers daily.
• Train Team Members on policies and procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints to ensure a positive experience.
