Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking team members to assist store management in operating objectives while delivering outstanding customer service. This role emphasizes safe work practices, animal welfare, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates will have retail or pet knowledge, be 18+, and capable of working varied shifts. Training and growth opportunities are provided as part of a comprehensive team-based rewards program.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Uphold safe and productive work environment by following policies.
• Support selling initiatives (TEAM) by engaging with customers and advising products.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic merchandising activities.
• Handle cash register operations and reconciliations daily.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure safe handling of live animals.
• Sanitize holding tanks and care for live animals as required.
• Complete documentation for duties and participate in training of Team Members.
