Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking team members to assist Store Management in achieving sales, merchandising and operational goals while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role promotes a safe work environment, trains team members on policies, and ensures proper handling of live animals and merchandise. Candidates should be 18+, with a high school diploma preferred, and may work varied hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights, weekends and overtime.
• Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following policies.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Support selling initiatives and engage with customers about products and services.
• Handle and care for live animals, including feeding, bedding and habitats.
