Job summary

CAVA is seeking a Team Leader to drive daily restaurant operations and guest experiences. You will lead the team, promote a positive work environment, delegate tasks, and assist in training and development under the guidance of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and adherence to food safety practices, with opportunities for growth within our expanding restaurant family. This position is on-site at CAVA locations in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Coach, develop, and support the cross training of Team Members as business grows.
• Support the overall restaurant experience and execute key duties including opening/closing the restaurant, placing food orders, inventory, and cash handling as needed.
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure that other Team Members follow proper food safety practices and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team operations and guest interactions.
• Promote a positive work environment and uphold standards.
• Delegate routines and important tasks to team members.
• Support training and development of other Team Members.
• Collaborate with AGMs and General Manager to achieve performance goals.
• Adapt to changing duties as needed.
