Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead for our Washington, DC child care center. You will promote growth across social, physical, and intellectual domains, manage daily classroom operations, and implement curriculum with a focus on high-quality instruction.

You will also mentor new staff, partner with families, and step into leadership roles in the director’s absence. Benefits include health coverage, tuition assistance, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility with classroom leadership.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state or accreditation education/experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom management and implement curriculum; instruction is a major part of weekly schedule.
• Build relationships with families to support child growth and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires; support directors in leadership duties.
