Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classroom instruction and promote child development. You will lead in curriculum implementation and support families to ensure student success, while mentoring new staff and sharing engaging activities with preschoolers.

The role emphasizes leadership duties in the center, maintaining licensing compliance and providing a safe, stimulating environment for children and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Meets IL Director qualifications
• Hourly rates $18.57-19.29/hr

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center's success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, helping create fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
