Job summary

Learning Care is hiring a Lead Teacher in the Washington, D.C. area. You will create engaging learning experiences, mentor fellow teachers, and lead classroom management while adhering to licensing guidelines and company standards.

You’ll build strong relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. This role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children and promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, stay compliant with licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
