Job summary

Learning Care Group seeks a Team Lead at a child care center to promote growth, lead classroom management, and implement curriculum. You will communicate with families to support each child’s success and mentor new staff to create engaging learning experiences for preschoolers.

As a strong leader, you may assume director duties in absence and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines while delivering high-quality daily care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or a CDA.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement.
• Mentor new hires and support fellow teachers to create engaging learning experiences.
• Take on director/assistant director duties in absence, including opening and closing the center.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
