Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain of Off Field Operations to drive inventory, fulfillment, and stockroom execution. You will lead a team to ensure fast, accurate store performance and athlete-ready readiness while coaching teammates and maintaining high standards.

You’ll build a strong team, provide coaching, conduct performance reviews, and ensure compliance with policies. Strong leadership and coaching skills are essential to create an inclusive and high-performing store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by advising on products and assortment, following merchandising standards, and promoting loyalty programs.
• Assist in developing 30-60-90 day plans with leadership to support priorities within budgets and goals.
• Lead store operations in opening/closing, Front End and Cash Office functions, and supervise teammates.
