Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain of Off Field Operations to lead inventory, fulfillment, and stockroom execution in store operations. You will coach teammates, manage schedules, and drive store performance to keep the store athlete-ready.

You will build a strong team, hire and train direct reports, and ensure adherence to safety, loss prevention and SOPs while delivering exceptional athlete experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
• People leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing clear, accurate product information and service.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards across the store.
• Lead and coach teammates to execute plans and drive store performance.
• Develop and manage 30–60–90 day plans with the SM/ASM to support business priorities.
• Oversee opening/closing, Front End and Cash Office functions.
