Job summary

BDO USA, LLP in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Tax Manager, Core Tax Services to advise clients on tax implications of business objectives and communicate risks and policy changes. The role covers tax compliance, research, ASC 740, and consulting while growing client relationships and providing written tax advice.

You will lead teams, support budgeting and billing processes, and mentor associates to deliver high-quality tax services in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics.
• Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred; CPA, Attorney or EA required.
• 5+ years of tax experience; prior supervision required; industry expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with tax compliance and planning for clients; coordinates with client service teams.
• Plans and reviews the tax process, including budgeting, timing, and billing.
• Leads research, communicates complex issues, and applies ASC 740 guidance.
• Develops and implements tax consulting strategies to maximize client benefits.
• Supervises and trains associates; manages client relationships and deadlines.
