Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Experienced Manager in Core Tax Services to advise clients on tax implications, evaluate alternatives to minimize tax burden, and manage complex tax issues. The role serves as the primary client contact for complex matters and contributes to regional leadership and business development.

You will oversee tax compliance reviews, research methodologies, and ASC 740 applications while mentoring staff and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of prior tax experience.
• Strong communication and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance engagements and resolve complex issues with clients.
• Provide tax planning and risk assessment for clients.
• Apply ASC 740/FIN 48 knowledge to engagements and reviews.
• Develop and mentor junior staff on tax research and client service.
• Contribute to practice development and client relationship management.
• Support practice leadership in strategy development and engagement planning.
