Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Manager for Core Tax Services to advise clients on tax implications, manage compliance, and lead project teams. You will evaluate actions to reduce taxes, communicate risks, and contribute to marketing and business development within your area of specialization.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, several years of tax experience, and a track record in client service, supervision, and written tax advice. CPA/EA eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of prior tax experience, public accounting, private industry or consulting.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• CPA, Attorney or EA designation or eligibility required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong client relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance processes, review tax returns, and manage client issues.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and communicate risks to clients.
• Supervise associates and seniors; delegate tasks and provide feedback.
• Develop tax strategies and respond to exams and inquiries efficiently.
