Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking proactive TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location, performing full-service tax preparation, expert advice, and software support for both in-person and virtual clients.

You will collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience, while expanding the local client base and community presence.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale.
• Willing to complete all required training, including compliance and cross-training of products.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising with your name/photo.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients (simple to complex).
• Lead discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Assist with future tax planning using government resources and expert team knowledge.
• Grow local TurboTax client base via outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Serve as local face of TurboTax, driving loyalty and brand awareness.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience in person and via video tools.
