Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations in the United States, delivering hands-on tax preparation and expert advice while coordinating with a broader team of specialists to address clients’ complete financial picture.

You will grow the local client base, build long-term relationships, and help customers maximize refunds and future tax planning, using Intuit resources and marketing support to drive year-round prosperity.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client's complete financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions.
• Build local community relationships, grow the client base, and lead local events with marketing support.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, both in person and via Intuit video tools.
• Collaborate with tax professionals across bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services.
