Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic. You will diagnose failures, perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on tank trailers, and ensure DOT compliance.

This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, pay range $21–$41 per hour, and opportunities for skill-based raises; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic with experience in tank trailer repair.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• Ability to inspect tanks and trailers to meet DOT standards.
• Welding TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, or other tank trailer systems.
• Perform tank service and repair, and trailer suspension work.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Welding and fabrication work using TIG/MIG; aluminum/stainless preferred.

We are currently searching for a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Cherry Hill, NJ location!

Address: 1003 Astoria Blvd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections
• Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
