Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Cherry Hill, NJ location. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers, perform DOT inspections, and assist with service, welding, and fabrication tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical issues on tank trailers.
• Experience with tank trailers, service, and welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, or other systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and trailer repairs; install/repair suspension.
• Inspect tanks and trailers to DOT standards and complete inspections.
• Welding and fabrication tasks (TIG/MIG aluminum and stainless preferred).

We are currently searching for a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Cherry Hill NJ location Address 1003 Astoria Blvd Cherry Hill NJ 08003 Shift Monday through Friday 700 AM to 330 PM Pay Range 2100 to 4100 per hour dependent on experience Skill based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical electrical or other various systems on a tank trailerTank service and repairTrailer suspension installation and repairExperience with air brake systems and repairsAbility to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards complete DOT inspectionsWelding and fabrication experience TIGMIG aluminum and stainless preferred
