Job summary

Depot Connect International in Cherry Hill, NJ is hiring a Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic to diagnose and repair tank trailers. The role covers electrical and mechanical diagnostics, tank service, trailer suspension work, and air brake repairs.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at 1003 Astoria Blvd. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $41.00 per hour based on experience, with pay-rate reviews every 6 months and opportunities to advance within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Diagnose faults on mechanical, electrical or other systems of tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and repair with attention to DOT standards.
• Install/repair trailer suspension components and alignment.
• Work with air brake systems and repairs.
• Inspect tanks/trailers to DOT standards and carry out inspections.
• Welding/fabrication experience – TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred.

Responsibilities

Physical Demands

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole.
