Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT-certified Tank Trailer Mechanic at our Cherry Hill, NJ location. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers and performing DOT inspections to ensure compliance.

The position offers a Mon-Fri shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay ranging from $21.00 to $41.00 per hour depending on experience, plus skill-based reviews and semi-annual increases.

Qualifications

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and repair tasks.
• Install and repair trailer suspension components.
• Work with air brake systems and perform repairs.
• Inspect trailers to DOT standards and conduct DOT inspections.
• Weld and fabricate using TIG/MIG; aluminum and stainless materials preferred.

We are currently searching for a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Cherry Hill, NJ location!

Address: 1003 Astoria Blvd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections
• Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
