Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic. You will diagnose failures, repair mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers, and ensure DOT compliance at the Cherry Hill location.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, with skill-based reviews and increases every 6 months. This role requires welding experience and DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical or other systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair and trailer suspension installation/repair.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• Ability to inspect tanks and trailers to DOT standards and perform inspections.
• Welding and fabrication experience (TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on tank trailers.
• Inspect and repair tank trailers to meet DOT standards and complete inspections.
• Perform welding/fabrication on tanks and trailers as needed.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections
• Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
