Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking DOT registered inspector mechanics with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with pay range of $22.00 to $36.00 per hour, contingent on experience.

The role includes skill-based pay reviews every 6 months and benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) with employer matching. Candidates should be capable of diagnosing failures, performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other systems

Qualifications

• DOT registered inspector mechanics with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose failures and repair mechanical/electrical systems on tank trailers.
• Experience with TIG welding and DOT HM183 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other systems on tank trailers.
• Service and repair tanks, Betts valves, and gaskets; inspect and test components.
• Install/repair trailer suspensions and ensure DOT compliance.

We are currently searching for DOT registered inspector mechanics with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Range

$22.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair, Betts valves, gaskets
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to use handheld diagnostic tools, tablets, basic tech skills
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
