Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a Tank Builder / Welder to join our nationwide team. You will perform arc welding, cutting, and fabrication on above-ground storage tanks along with safety and quality procedures.

Candidates must be 18+ and able to lift 50 lbs, have a high school diploma, and be eligible to work in the United States. Willingness to travel and pass background checks and drug testing is required. Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting, gouging, and welding as part of tank fabrication.
• Operate power and air tools, welding equipment, and lifting gear safely.
• Read detailed erection and fabrication drawings to plan work.
• Follow safety procedures, complete job safety analyses, and participate in training.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects to specification.
• Other duties as assigned.
