Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder/Welder to join our nationwide team. You will perform arc and torch cutting, welding, and fabrication on above-ground storage tanks, while following safety standards and working with a crew to deliver quality projects across the country.

The ideal candidate communicates well, is reliable, and can lift 50 lbs. A high school diploma and legal eligibility to work in the United States are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Weld plate with SMAW/FCAW processes and related methods.
• Operate power and lifting equipment safely.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan welding sequences.
• Follow safety training and site procedures.
