Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to support projects nationwide. You will perform arc and torch cutting, welding in multiple positions, and follow strict safety protocols.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, be able to lift 50 lbs, pass background checks, and be willing to work on-site at various locations across the country. Experience welding and reading drawings is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding experience with SMAW, FCAW and submerged arc is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting, welding and gouging.
• Operate welding tools, grinders, lifts and associated equipment.
• Read drawings and plan tank fabrication and repair sequences.
• Follow safety rules and complete job safety analyses.
