Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full-time Tank Builder/Welder for nationwide projects. You will perform cutting, welding, and assembly of above-ground storage tanks and related structures across multiple sites. Emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork to meet project timelines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to lift 50 lbs, and pass background and drug tests. Prior welding experience and ability to read fabrication drawings are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to pass background checks and drug testing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work as part of a crew on Nationwide projects.
• Ability to read and interpret welding/fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, and power tools.
• Weld with SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes.
• Use tank shell buggies, scaffolding, and ladders.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan welding sequences.
• Ensure safety training and job safety analyses are completed.
