Job summary

Red Hat is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to join the services team as a Technical Account Manager (TAM). You will provide adoption guidance, best-practice implementations, and supportable insights to customers for Red Hat OpenShift and Infrastructure solutions.

As a TAM, you will partner with engineering and product teams to proactively prevent incidents, resolve issues, and drive successful adoption across mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux or UNIX system administration experience.
• Prior experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization.
• Technical knowledge of the Linux kernel and Linux file system.
• Ability to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships by delivering proactive, relationship-based support.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex information to customers clearly and concisely.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with an eye for detail.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of hardware vendors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular technical reviews of customer infrastructure to proactively identify risks.
• Deliver technical advice and guidance to optimize performance across Red Hat products.
• Develop and support solutions for complex technical challenges as an escalation point.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Support to debug and resolve issues.
• Manage customer use cases with clear, concise documentation.
• Capture and share learnings through knowledge management processes and training materials.
• Serve as the customer's primary technical advocate within Red Hat.
• Conduct regular account reviews with customers and stakeholders to align goals.
• Work on-site and connect directly to customer systems as required.
• Maintain deep technical expertise across assigned products and environments.
• Serve as a technical mentor for junior team members.
