Job summary
Red Hat is seeking an OpenShift Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our Technical Account Management team remotely in the southeastern U.S. You will work with a subset of key customers to provide direct technical and architectural guidance for the OpenShift Container Platform and act as the customer advocate across Red Hat’s engineering and support teams.
The ideal TAM combines deep technical expertise with strong collaboration skills, can learn new technologies quickly, and excels at
Qualifications
- 5+ years in support, development, or engineering roles.
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform administration.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud management and IT automation.
- Proven ability to grow enterprise customer relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and architectural guidance for OpenShift deployments.
- Perform proactive reviews and share knowledge to prevent issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management and support teams.
- Develop customer engagement plans and update environment documentation.
- Lead issue escalation and resolution with Red Hat and customers.
- Build relationships delivering proactive, relationship-based support.
