Job summary

Red Hat is seeking an OpenShift Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our enterprise TAM team. Remote in the southeastern US, you will guide customers on Red Hat OpenShift, manage incidents, and advocate for customers across engineering and product teams.

You will build trusted relationships, learn customer environments, and deliver strategic cloud guidance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document customer environments, and lead engagements to ensure long-term enterprise

Qualifications

5+ years in a support, development, engineering, IT, or QA organization
OpenShift Container Platform administration
Expertise in enterprise cloud solutions incl. PaaS, containers, Kubernetes
Ability to manage and grow enterprise customer relationships
Strong written and verbal communication in English
Bachelor's degree in tech; RHCE is a plus

Responsibilities

Support enterprise customers implementing automated and containerized cloud app platform solutions
Learn new technologies quickly (containers, orchestration, registries, microservices)
Develop relationships with key stakeholders and understand business goals
Perform technical reviews and proactively identify issues
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and support teams
Create customer engagement plans and keep environment docs updated
Troubleshoot and escalate issues with Red Hat and customers
Conduct periodic reviews of operational performance with customer leadership
