Job summary

Generalist is building a world-class talent function in San Francisco and Boston, actively scaling teams across research science, ML infrastructure, robotics controls, and hardware. You will own end-to-end search ownership, map talent ecosystems, and partner with hiring managers to bring top technical talent on board.

Qualifications

• 5+ years full-cycle technical recruiting.
• Track record of closing senior technical hires with competing offers.
• Real passive-sourcing depth with named-target searches.
• Data fluency with funnel analytics and ATS reporting.
• Current use of AI tooling in workflow with good judgment.
• Exceptional written communication in outreach and briefs.
• Genuine technical curiosity about architectures and research.
• Strong relationship management under pressure with candidates, managers, and agencies.
• Based in San Francisco or Boston, in person.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end search processes including intake, strategy, sourcing, screening, and handoffs to onboarding.
• Conduct proactive talent mapping to identify candidate pools.
• Perform targeted sourcing via publications, conferences, repositories, and referrals.
• Integrate modern tooling and AI to enhance research and workflow.
• Track pipeline metrics and channel effectiveness to guide decisions.
• Partner with hiring managers on role scoping, interview loops, and debriefs.
• Engage candidates with our mission and technical scope to drive interest and offers.
• Maintain clean data, scheduling, and structured interviewing within the ATS.
• Collaborate with external agencies to supplement internal sourcing as needed.
• Support in-person hiring efforts across San Francisco and Boston.
