Job summary

Unconventional AI is building a new compute substrate for AI, blending neuromorphic engineering with advanced software. We are hiring a Technical Recruiter to partner with founders and engineering leaders, designing sourcing strategies and closing exceptional candidates across deep-tech domains.

You will map new talent pools in hardware, AI research, and neuroscience, and build the recruiting engine from the ground up while maintaining a high talent bar.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing talent in complex technical domains.
• Exceptional communication and strategic advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Full-Cycle Recruiting: end-to-end hiring for specialized technical roles from scoping to offer negotiation.
• Partner with Leadership to understand needs and translate them into talent plans.
• Build Pipeline with proactive sourcing for passive candidates in niche markets.
• Elevate the Candidate Experience with a high-touch, mission-driven approach.
• Architect Recruiting Operations to scale processes and ATS workflows.
