Many roles are senior and we value thoughtful, strategic recruiting over volume. As an early member of our talent team, you will design and scale our hiring engine, map key contributors, engage hiring managers, and provide data-driven guidance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years full-cycle technical recruiting.
• Track record of closing senior technical hires with competing offers.
• Real passive-sourcing depth; built named-target searches.
• Data-driven, proficient with ATS reporting and spreadsheets.
• Experience using AI tools in recruiting workflows with judgment.
• Exceptional written communication in outreach and internal briefs.
• Genuine technical curiosity about AI/robotics research.
• Strong relationship management under pressure with candidates, managers, and agencies.
• Based in San Francisco or Boston, in person.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end search ownership across key searches.
• Proactive talent mapping to identify prospective candidates.
• Targeted sourcing from publications, conferences, and networks.
• Integrate modern tooling and AI while ensuring quality.
• Track pipeline metrics and channel effectiveness to guide decisions.
• Partner with hiring managers on scoping, loops, and debriefs.
• Engage candidates and drive closing discussions.
• Maintain structured operations and scheduling in Ashby.
• Collaborate with external agencies as needed.
• Support multi-site hiring across SF and Boston with occasional visits.
