Job summary

Generalist AI is building a world-class talent engine across research science, ML infrastructure, robotics controls, and hardware. This Senior Recruiting role focuses on thoughtful talent strategy, proactive mapping, and data-informed guidance to attract top technical professionals.

You will collaborate with the Head of Talent Acquisition to design and scale our hiring engine, develop domain insights, and partner with hiring managers to drive successful searches in a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting.
• Proven track record closing senior technical hires with offers.
• Depth in passive sourcing and building named-target searches.
• Data fluency: ability to build funnels, identify leaks, and use data to influence decisions.
• Current use of AI tools in workflow with discernment of usefulness.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end search lifecycle from intake to onboarding.
• Perform proactive talent mapping and targeted sourcing across domains.
• Leverage publications, conferences, and networks for meaningful outreach.
• Integrate AI tools for research and workflow while maintaining accuracy.
• Provide data-informed insights on pipeline and channel performance.
• Collaborate with hiring managers on scope, interviews, and debriefs.
• Engage and close candidates with a compelling mission and team details.
• Maintain structured operations and scheduling within Ashby for efficiency.
• Manage external agencies to supplement internal sourcing.
• Support multi-site hiring across San Francisco and Boston, including events.
