Job description

Hai Robotics is revolutionizing warehouse automation with intelligent robotics systems that deliver true customer value based on a unique combination of scalable standards with customer specific customization. Our mission is to empower fulfillment operations with cutting-edge technology and an obsessive customer focus.

Job Summary

The CEO of the Americas has a bold vision to transform the robotics industry across the region by rallying the AMER team around a mission rooted in customer obsession— not just robotic functionality. At Hai Robotics, success begins with understanding our customers’ challenges and delivering innovative automation solutions that drive measurable impact.

We are seeking a System Implementation Engineer to support the deployment of warehouse automation solutions by leading software system installation, integration, and testing. This role partners closely with project and software teams to ensure successful deployment of robotics control software and its integration with customer systems such as WMS, WCS, PLCs, and network infrastructure. Responsibilities include executing the implementation plan, resolving on-site technical issues, supporting system integration and acceptance testing, training clients, and providing post-go-live technical support. This position requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to travel for project execution.

Hai Robotics operates in a fast-paced environment where we “Work Hard, Have Fun, Make History.” In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, build relationships with customers and industry partners, and help position Hai Robotics as a trusted leader in warehouse automation innovation.

You will join a world-class team in an environment that combines the energy of a start-up with the scale and ambition of a global robotics leader. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in expanding Hai Robotics’ market presence in the United States and globally, working alongside passionate professionals who believe that innovation, partnership, and exceptional service are key to customer success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • System Deployment & Integration: Complete software system installation and deployment; perform on-site software/hardware integration and commissioning between the robotics system and the customer’s existing systems (WMS, PLC, network equipment, etc.), resolving protocol, interface, and data-flow compatibility issues to ensure correct interfacing between software versions and hardware equipment.
  • Testing & Acceptance: Perform automation process validation and integration testing, including joint debugging with the customer’s system team, to confirm the system operates as expected in real-world scenarios, covering exception and boundary condition testing; complete functional and performance acceptance, and participate in final project acceptance and sign-off, on schedule.
  • Implementation Execution & On-Site Troubleshooting: Drive on-site software implementation according to plan; identify and resolve software bugs, communication anomalies, and data synchronization issues, often requiring troubleshooting across software, network, and hardware layers; report daily project progress and synchronize key information with internal teams and clients; systematically manage on-site technical assessments and risk analysis.
  • Customer Training & Go-Live Support: Prepare system configuration documentation and operating manuals; train customer technical and operations staff; provide technical support through go-live.
  • Post-Launch Support: Continuously monitor system performance after launch, resolve issues as they arise, and provide ongoing remote or on-site technical support.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration & Feedback Loop: Serve as the bridge between on-site implementation and back-end R&D teams, relaying field issues and driving product iteration and improvement.
