SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an on-site System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based solutions within a government hosting facility in the United States. The role requires active security clearance and full-time presence at the base.

This position is funded to start after September 1, 2026 and offers a competitive compensation package. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining hardware and virtual infrastructure, ensuring backups and DR readiness, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system administration experience.
• RMF/ STIG/ ACAS scanning experience.
• Windows or Linux certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for a government hosting facility.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, including VMs and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on hosts.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software on servers/workstations.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Deploy and maintain software applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
• Provide technical support to customers and guidance on best practices.
• Secure information systems per DoD guidance.
• Maintain security posture via continuous monitoring and security events.
• Participate in Agile project planning.
• Provide networking support to on-premises infrastructure.
