Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions within a government hosting facility. This on-site role is based at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD, with future funding and a September 1, 2026 start.

An ACTIVE Secret clearance is required; eligibility for Top Secret will be considered after joining. Candidates must have 3+ years of relevant experience and security certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Security+ certification preferred.
• Experience with RMF/STIG/ACAS security scanning.
• Windows or Linux environment certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, VMs and containers.
• Perform system maintenance and configuration changes on servers/workstations.
• Manage backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Support customers with technical guidance and issue resolution.
• Maintain security posture and DoD guidance compliance.
• Participate in Agile project planning and provide on-site networking support.
