Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking an enterprising System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions within a government software hosting facility. This full-time on-site role requires presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, and is slated for funding; begin date not before September 1, 2026.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Secret clearance (Top Secret possible after start) and work under DoD guidance, maintaining RMF/STIG/ACAS compliance and

Qualifications

• Active Security+ certification preferred and/or equivalent.
• Experience with RMF/STIG/ACAS scanning.
• Experience maintaining Windows and Linux servers in a DoD/government hosting environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain physical/virtual hardware, including VMs and containers.
• Perform maintenance and configuration on servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions and deploy software.
• Secure information systems according to DoD guidance.
• Participate in Agile project planning and provide networking support on-prem.
