Job summary

Big Blue Swim School is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead Swim Associates, and deliver an exceptional experience for swimmers and families. This salaried leadership role requires presence on the floor, strong people skills, and a focus on standards and safety.

You will manage scheduling, billing follow-up, and staff development, while ensuring pool cleanliness and compliance with certifications. Spanish fluency is a plus and weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a fast‑paced, people‑facing environment.
• Strong sales instincts; ability to move families toward a decision.
• Operationally reliable with attention to timekeeping, scheduling, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and emotional intelligence for difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Swim Associates and deliver an outstanding swimmer/family experience.
• Own the customer experience from inquiry to enrollment and beyond; ensure smooth trials and conversions.
• Oversee daily operations: timekeeping, scheduling, billing follow-up, and shift procedures.
• Maintain pool area, water quality, and equipment; manage inventory and staff training.
