Big Blue Swim School – Short Hills, NJ is hiring an Assistant Manager to open the new location and lead day-to-day operations, build a strong team, and deliver an outstanding experience for families and staff.

As the right hand to the General Manager, you’ll supervise hourly swim staff, ensure safety and curriculum standards, coach team members, and maintain facilities and water quality while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of proven experience managing large hourly teams.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Sales experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable working in the pool as needed.
• Enthusiastic about working with kids and helping them grow.
• Positive, fun-loving attitude.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and move throughout the facility to interact with staff and customers.
• Certifications (lifeguard, CPR, CPO) will be provided through training.

Big Blue Swim School in Short hills is opening Fall 2026 and is hiring an Assistant Manager to help with the new opening and to lead day-to-day operations, develop a strong team, and create an outstanding experience for families and staff. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced leader ready to run a fast-paced, high-energy business where customer service, team culture, and operational excellence matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Big Blue Swim School’s safety procedures, curriculum standards, and principles.
• Maintain required certifications and enforce safety protocols.
