Job summary

Big Blue Swim School in Torrance, CA is hiring an Assistant Manager to support daily operations and lead our Swim Associates to success. This full-time role reports to the General Manager and focuses on delivering an exceptional experience for students and families.

The role requires previous management experience, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 with health benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Lifeguard, CPR, CPO certifications preferred.
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with students and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student progress and ensure appropriate progression.
• Communicate with parents for status updates and high-quality service.
• Coach and instruct teachers in safe swim lessons.
• Ensure teachers follow company principles and curriculum.
• Enforce safety procedures and certifications.
• Maintain building operations, including cleanliness and water quality.
• Assist the General Manager with daily operations and team support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
