Job summary

Stellar Talent LLC is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead land surveying initiatives from initiation through completion. The role requires strong project management, technical expertise, and team leadership to deliver accurate surveys and timely reports.

The candidate will coordinate field crews and office teams, develop schedules, manage resources and budgets, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in land surveying and project management.
• Strong knowledge of boundary and topographic surveys.
• Experience with building/site surveying and existing-condition documentation.
• Proficiency with GPS, total stations, data collectors, CAD and GIS.

We’re hiring a Survey Project Manager to lead land surveying projects from initiation through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveying professional with strong project management, technical, and team leadership experience.

What You’ll Do

• Manage land surveying projects from planning through final deliverables
• Coordinate field crews and office survey teams
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor budgets
• Review project scope, survey data, maps, reports, and deliverables
• Oversee boundary, topographic, and building surveys
• Ensure projects meet quality, regulatory, and industry standards
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Resolve technical and logistical challenges throughout projects
• Mentor and support survey staff
• Identify opportunities to improve surveying and project workflows
• Promote and maintain strong safety and quality-control practices

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in land surveying and survey project management
• Strong knowledge of boundary and topographic surveys
• Experience with building/site surveying and existing-condition documentation
• Proficiency with GPS, total stations, data collectors, CAD and/or GIS
• Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination skills
• Excellent communication and client-management abilities
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or eligibility to obtain licensure preferred
• Technical degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field preferred
• Experience managing survey crews and multiple projects is a strong plus
