Job summary

LHH is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead land surveying projects across the Virginia Beach region. You will oversee field crews, CAD teams, and project budgets while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of surveying experience, a PLS or equivalent license preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive project delivery and growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of land surveying experience.
  • Experience managing surveying projects and personnel.
  • Knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys.
  • Experience reviewing plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble, or related software.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage land surveying projects from proposal through final delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble, or related software experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Surveyor license (PLS, PSM, or equivalent)
  • Virginia licensure or ability to obtain Virginia licensure
  • Experience supporting transportation, commercial, municipal, or site development projects
  • Existing industry relationships within the Hampton Roads market
