Confidential Employer is seeking an experienced Land Surveying Project Lead for on-site work in Virginia Beach, VA. You will lead projects from kickoff to delivery, coordinating field crews and office staff to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

With 5+ years in land surveying, you will guide boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys, ensuring quality and client satisfaction while maintaining strong relationships and project timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Proven experience managing or coordinating surveying projects.
• Strong understanding of land surveying principles and practices.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, construction, and/or ALTA/NSPS surveying.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate field and office teams.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
• Professional, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead land surveying projects from initiation through final delivery, ensuring accuracy and on-schedule completion.
• Coordinate field crews, survey technicians, and office personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Provide technical guidance on boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Review survey data and deliverables for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate field data collection, processing, drafting, and final project production.
• Identify project risks and resolve issues to keep projects moving forward.
• Collaborate with internal teams to balance technical requirements and client expectations.

Pay: $79,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year
