Job summary

Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, Ft Worth, is hiring a Surgical Technologist II for full-time night shifts (three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends). The role supports the surgical team by preparing, organizing, and maintaining sterile instruments and supplies under RN supervision to ensure a safe operating room.

The position emphasizes infection control, instrument counts, and collaboration with surgeons and the OR team to deliver efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certification as CST preferred by NBSTSA or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Discuss special needs with the surgeon before surgery and scrub in.
• Prepare and maintain instrument tables; ensure proper counts.
• Set up the OR with sterile instrument setup for the procedure and open needed supplies.
• Ensure proper functioning of instruments and equipment during procedures.
• Assist with draping, positioning, and specimen handling per protocol.
• Maintain inventory and ship/ddispose of instruments and waste per policy.
