Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Surgical Technician 3 for PRN evenings at Ft Worth. You will assist during operations, manage instrument preparation, and support the surgical team to maintain a safe, efficient OR.

Responsibilities include equipment readiness, instrument counts, and collaboration with surgeons and staff to ensure quality patient care. You will work within Labor & Delivery CST and surgical services, contributing to a high‑standard operating room environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited surgical tech program.
• Two years of experience required.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• CST certification required by NBSTSA/NCCT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team by preparing and arranging instruments.
• Ensure instrument tables are set up and maintained.
• Perform counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
• Maintain infection control and sterile processing standards.
• Coordinate communication between service line, surgeons, and team.
