Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II to support the operating room team in Round Rock, TX. You will prepare the sterile field, pass instruments, and assist with draping and patient positioning under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program and CST certified.
• Experience with sterile field setup and instrument handling.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Scrub into surgery and prepare instruments before incision.
• Maintain sterile setup and organize instrument tables.
• Assist with draping, patient positioning, and specimen handling.
• Ensure proper instrument counts and tool function during cases.
• Follow infection control policies and regulatory guidelines.
