Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock. You will work nights, assisting the surgical team with instrument handling, sterile setup, and ensuring operating room readiness under RN supervision.

Ideal candidates have an accredited surgical technologist program and CST certification, with strong infection control knowledge and teamwork skills to support safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - BLS, CST certification preferred or required by NBSTSA/NCCT

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instrument tables and surgical supplies.
• Assist surgeons and team with sterile setup and draping.
• Ensure proper instrument counts and safe handling of specimens.
• Maintain infection control standards and OSHA guidelines during procedures.
