Job summary

Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Surgical Technician 3 (PRN evenings) to support operating room teams. You will assist a Registered Nurse by preparing and organizing instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient surgical flow.

You will manage the service line's supplies, communicate with surgeons and staff, and uphold infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical tech or related role.
• BLS certification required at hire or within 30 days; CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instrument table and supplies for procedures.
• Assist in draping and positioning the patient for surgery.
• Perform counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments per policy.
• Ensure proper equipment readiness and aseptic technique during cases.
• Adhere to infection control, OSHA guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Manage inventory of clean and sterilized equipment.
